At Discover Church, our heart has always been to create a place where people can experience God in a real and life-changing way. Pastors Marc and Monica Poland dreamed of planting a church with a simple mission—to help people know God, find freedom, discover their purpose, and make a difference. They firmly believe that God has a unique plan for every person, and the church should be a place where people can grow into the fullness of who He created them to be.

In 2012, while serving in ministry at The Perfecting Church (SNJ), Pastor Marc felt a clear call to plant a life-giving church in the Philadelphia area. After extensive training through the Association of Related Churches (ARC), Marc and Monica, along with 80 passionate launch team members, stepped out in faith and officially launched Discover Church on March 1, 2020. Since then, Discover Church has continued to grow as a vibrant community where people encounter Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and step boldly into their God-given purpose.

Everything we do at Discover Church is built on three strategic anchors that shape how we minister and serve. We are committed to encouraging people by creating an uplifting environment where faith is strengthened and lives are transformed. We prioritize fostering genuine connections because we believe life change happens through authentic relationships, and we intentionally create spaces where people can build meaningful community. And we focus on providing practical steps for everyday life, ensuring that faith isn’t just something we hear about on Sundays but something we can apply throughout the week.
