The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on a Host Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a Student Ministries Team, to crafting a dynamic experience with the Service Experience Team, to tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Small Group—we are a group that are advancing the Kingdom of God.
Areas of Service
A-TEAM (ADMINISTRATION)
Our team uses our gift of administration to support DC teams by using computer skills, data entry, and attention to details.
Requirements: Age: 18+, Background check
BAPTISM TEAM
Our team prepares for and hosts the DC’s baptism experience.
CAMPUS HOST TEAM
Our team brings a personal touch to our worship experiences by hosting in the lobby, at coffee stations and in the auditorium.
CAMPUS SUPPORT/FACILITIES TEAM
Our team works behind the scenes to maintain and support every area of our church, including baptism, conferences, and special events.
DREAM TEAM HOST TEAM
Our team hosts our Dream Team members in Dream Team Central by providing food and encouragement during services and special events.
GREETERS
Our team welcomes people to Discover Church at the front doors and hands out worship guides at the entrance to the auditorium.
NEXT STEPS HOST TEAM
Our team serves as the hosts of the Growth Track, greeting guests and providing materials and assistance to those discovering their next steps at Discover Church.
DISCOVER KIDS
Our team invests in the lives of children through worship, Biblical teaching, videos, Small Groups, and games.

Our team helps students get connected to our Discover Students ministry through Small Groups, retreats, conferences, and serving at the Discover Students table on Sundays.

Our team facilitates a powerful worship experience through vocals, instruments, and audio engineering.

INFORMATION TEAM
Our team helps people identify their next steps by providing resources and information about weekend services, Small Groups, Next Steps Track, and events.
JV DREAM TEAM
Our team is made up of 6th-8th graders who serve in our pre-school and Discover Kids areas.
KIDS CHECK-IN
Our team facilitates the check-in process in Discover Kids to ensure children are cared for effectively and efficiently.

LEGACY TEAM
Our team uses our gift of giving to support major projects and facilitate the overall vision of the church through strategic financial offerings.

PARKING TEAM
Our team serves as the first impression for those coming to Discover by welcoming people on and off the property and by providing a safe and efficient parking experience.

PRAYER TEAM
Our team provides prayer covering for services, teams and ministries at Discover.
PRESCHOOL AND NURSERY
Our team ministers to children through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions.

Our team assists in the production of the overall worship experience, using lights, cameras, and other visual elements.

Our team facilitates the Discover experience at our portable campus by setting up before service and taking down after service

We are trained to facilitate Small Groups and equipped to build relationships while helping group members discover their next steps.
USHERS
Our team of men assists people to their seats, facilitates the offering, and helps maintain a distraction-free service environment.
SMALL GROUPS
We believe life change happens in the context of relationships. Small Groups have one simple purpose: to bring people together. God created us to live in community with others, and it is only then that we can experience the full life He intends for us. We believe every person is created with God-given potential to make a difference in the world. Small Groups are a place you can grow with others to become more like Jesus and reach the potential God has put inside you.
Leading a Small Group
Leading a Small Group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Hosting a group is simple. Choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. We give you essential tools to make your Small Group successful through Small Group Leader Training and a directory where you can register your group so others can find it easily. We believe people’s lives are changed one semester at a time by moving one step toward Jesus, and as a Small Group leader you get to play an important role in the process.
